The London-based world-renowned composer Dai Fujikura was appointed the new Music Director of the Izumi Sinfonietta Osaka, the resident orchestra of the Sumitomolife Izumi Hall, Japan, succeeding the late composer and its former Music Director Akira Nishimura (1953-2023).
