World-renowned pianist Sir András Schiff, the recipient of the music category of Japan’s prestigious Praemium Imperiale 2025, will return to Japan to give seven solo recitals in six cities (Tokyo, Sapporo, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka and Saitama) this coming March/April 2026.

At the last recital on Wednesday April 1st at Suntory Hall, Tokyo, he will perform J.S. Bach’s masterpiece Die Kunst der Fuge (The Art of Fugue) BWV1080.

As for the other six recitals, the program will be unveiled during each event: the Hungarian-born British maestro will announce on stage what he will perform talking to audience.
