Emanuel Rimoldi

The Russian trained Italian pianist Emanuel Rimoldi, winner of the Cantù and Pozzoli piano competitions, recently captured the international attention as a laureate winner of the first prize at the prestigious and esclusive Top of the World Piano Competition in Tromsø, contest reserved to award-winning participants, convincing the jury to prize him ahead of 1 prize winner of Queen Elisabeth competition and laureate winners of Chopin competition in Warsaw and Rubinstein competition in Tel Aviv, which were participating at the same edition.
In 2016 he won the Grand Prix at the international Manhattan Music Competition Ivo Pogorelich (USA), captivating the judges for his "possession of a powerful musical personality, stellar technique and high quality of piano sound, able to create a powerful emotional involvement of the listeners" (Alexandre Toradze).

After making a vibrant 2018 concerts tour in the USA and in Germany, with his debut at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Emanuel Rimoldi ventures a dynamic 2021/22 season which include several tours in Japan, invitations at the Suntory Hall, Hakuju Hall and with the New Japan Philharmonic orchestra at the Tokyo Sumida Triphony Hall.
