Anna Lucia Richter

Anna Lucia Richter is in demand worldwide as a concert and opera singer. Most recently she has worked with the Vienna Philharmonic under Franz Welser-Möst and has sung frequently under Teodor Currentzis with Music-Aeterna, including in Mozart's "La Clemenza di Tito", on tour with works by Gustav Mahler and as Zerlina in 2021 at the Salzburg Festival in "Don Giovanni". In spring 2020, the artist initiated a change of field to mezzo-soprano, an important step that opened up new opportunities for her worldwide. In 2022, for example, she performed the alto part in Mahler's 2nd Symphony with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra under Jakub Hrůša and Mahler's 3rd Symphony with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin under Iván Fischer. In the 2023/24 season, Anna Lucia Richter will return to the Cologne Opera to play Idamante in Mozart's "Idomeneo" in a new production. This is followed by Bruckner's F minor Mass with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, Schubert's A flat major Mass with the Dresden Philharmonic and Mozart and Haydn arias with the Cologne Gürzenich Orchestra. As a lieder singer, she has performed in all major lieder centers with an extensive repertoire.
